小麥來自音樂之都英國倫敦，並在那裡闖出了名堂。不過從他的身上確能找出那么一點點的小不同。在英國有很多青年人組上樂隊自彈自唱吸引眾多人的目光，但是小麥的音樂目標卻不只這些。 與著名的製作人David Brant一起泡在錄音棚中一年多，創作了多首歌曲。其節奏、旋律會一下子讓人記住，也許是幾周，也許是幾個月、幾年，又或是永遠！

2010年2月5日，曾獲邀為傳奇搖滾樂隊Bon Jovi（邦喬維）“Lost Highway”擔任世界巡迴演唱會的開場嘉賓的英倫搖滾型男Stewart Mac（斯圖爾特麥可）將為歌迷帶來今年情人節最能俘獲人心的音樂禮物--《我愛你》。 史蒂麥可曾在眾多倫敦知名的場館如The Astoria, The Clapham Grand, The Islington Academy等舉辦過個人演出，他以優異的現場演出，為自己贏得了許多來自樂評和媒體的正面肯定。倫敦知名演唱會經紀公司Feedme Music的Dave Grenfell就不吝讚揚的表示，“他有著令人屏息的音樂才華！”所有看過他表演的觀眾，也都著迷於他的迷人歌曲與現場魅力。
2008年的夏天，史蒂麥可受Bon Jovi邀請成為Bon Jovi “Lost Highway”世界巡迴演唱會的開場嘉賓。在倫敦Twickenham體育館的首演上，現場62000位歌迷為小麥的歌聲而瘋狂。Bon Jovi還請史蒂麥可和他的樂隊參與開場曲與結束曲，受到了現場歌迷無數的歡呼與掌聲。隨著倫敦首演的成功，他跟隨Bon Jovi一路開向紐約，並在著名的麥迪遜花園廣場與Bon Jovi一起拍攝了紀錄短片。
紅名中國
2010年1月，史蒂麥可首度前往台灣，與當紅歌后蔡依林一同獻唱“軒尼詩炫音之樂 跨年音樂派對”，他向記者表示，“自己一直都很喜歡台灣歌手的音樂，所以在自己的新專輯中也改編了知名歌手陶喆的歌曲‘愛很簡單’。”他的新專輯更是以這首歌改編的歌曲“我愛你”來命名。
情人節即將到來之際，史蒂麥可特別推出這張用愛演唱的專輯，將一曲曲動聽的歌曲和溫情的歌聲作為禮物送給熱戀中的情侶們。Stewart Mac說：“如果沒了歌曲，外表是否好看、造型是否出色、是否簽約給最大的唱片公司、是不是有最多的宣傳製作預算……這些全都不重要，因為，打動人心永遠是音樂本身，這是最根本的成功核心價值。”
