內容簡介
Tracing the history of this most-storied franchise from its origins in the 1880s to the present day, this book offers baseball fans - and Cardinal fanatics - a comprehensive history of this famous team. Pairing black-and-white historic photographs with contemporary images of the modern game, the book explores the players and managers, ballparks and equipment, traditions and fans that define more than a century of Cardinal baseball. It follows the team form Charlie Comiskey's American Association Champs through the 2006 World series winners to today, and celebrates the teams all-time champions from Roger Hornsby, Dizzy Dean, Stan Musial to Albert Pujols - a complete portrait in time of one of the great baseball teams.
