說到Rose Melberg, 不得不說說Twee Pop. 把Twee Pop比作泡泡糖獨立搖滾樂最適合不過--它的音樂有著D.I.Y的精神,但又蔑視朋克樂的傳統慣例.它有著一種自搖滾樂誕生起就未曾聽到過的直率天真的特質。Twee pop的Top Artist有諸如Belle & Sebastian, Cannanes? Softies, Tiger Trap等等，而Melberg最初是Tiger Trap的vocal和guitar,接著擔任Softies的主唱，後來還跑去Gaze打鼓。98年Melberg發行了自己的專輯Portola,時閣6年，又推出了這張Cast Away the Clouds. Melberg也許並不算Twee Pop最好的演繹者，事實上，從這張專輯裡她身上最後的indie痕跡漸漸移除，Melberg開始成長為真正成熟的Vocalist。Cast Away the Clouds是如此的乾淨，無拘束，稀疏的鋼琴漂浮在吉他中，Melberg天使般甜美的嗓音讓你感覺仿佛她就坐在你身邊，和你一同在雲端漂向天堂。
