不是每周追PSV新遊戲的玩家，不知道PSM的人應該是多數。PSM的問題就在這裡。直到最後都沒有得到改善。最初戰略上的模糊沒有得到消除，使PSM沒有成為主流平台就夭折了。
PSM，英文全稱：PlayStation Mobile，上一個版本為PlayStation Suite，也就是0.98版本的測試版開發環境，簡稱：PSS。在2012年5月13日的更新中，0.98測試版更新為0.99測試版。
詳細內容
0.99版本照0.98版本更新了許多功能，除了在移動終端上改變了系統進入界面的顏色以及所傳入程式的圖示，還修改了很多原先版本的BUG，使得整個開發環境穩定了很多。
2012年5月13日索尼更名PSS為PSM的聲明（1.2版本） With the name change from “PlayStation®Suite” to “PlayStation®Mobile”, the title of the SDK license agreement is also changed from “PLYASTATION®SUITE SDK BETA VERSION LICENSE AGREEMENT” to “PLAYSTATION®MOBILE SDK BETA VERSION LICENSE AGREEMENT” and the version number of the agreement is updated to “1.2”. Since the PS Suite SDK (as defined in the “PLYASTATION®SUITE SDK BETA VERSION LICENSE AGREEMENT”) and the PSM SDK (as defined below) are substantially the same, the definition of the PSM SDK hereunder includes the PS Suite SDK.

ACCESS TO OR USE OF THE PSM SDK IS EXPRESSLY CONDITIONED UPON ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT.
This Agreement is a contract with Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. ("SCE"). This Agreement applies to any PlayStation®Mobile SDK beta version, and any patches, updates, upgrades or new versions thereof, and any related software and documentation, provided to or made available to you through any SCE service, online network or website (collectively, "PSM SDK").
Your use or access to third parties’ tools included with the PSM SDK is subject to additional terms and conditions imposed by such third parties. Your use or access to open source software or freeware included with the PSM SDK is subject to terms and conditions for such open source software or freeware.
