作者簡介
埃里克·霍布斯鮑姆：1917年生於亞歷山大，曾在維也納、柏林、倫敦和劍橋求學，是英國學會及美國藝術和科學學會會員，被多個國家的大學授予名譽學位。他在倫敦大學伯克貝克學院任教直到退休，此後到紐約的新社會研究學院工作。其著作甚豐，主要包括《革命的年代》、《資本的年代》、《帝國的年代》、《極端的年代》、《原始的反抗》、《盜匪》等書。
