ICS成立

中山大學人類學系公民與社會發展研究中心（簡稱中大公民社會中心，ICS），原名華南民間組織研究中心，是隸屬於中山大學人類學系的非營利性研究、實驗與倡導機構.。由香港中文大學與中山大學於2003年8月共同發起成立。

The Institute for Civil Society (ICS) of Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU), formerly known as South China Research Centre for Non-Governmental Organizations, is a non-profit organization engaged in research, experiment and advocacy. ICS was jointly created by The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and SYSU in August 2003 and operates under SYSU’s Department of Anthropology.

ICS宗旨

中心的宗旨是通過研究、實驗與倡導，發展本土公民社會戰略，支持民間組織發展，推動公民社會與政府和企業的溝通與合作，實現社會的和諧公正。
