Greatest Hits(歐美流行音樂精選集的常用名稱)

Greatest Hits為歐美流行樂壇藝人發行的精選集唱片（Greatest Hits Album）的名稱之一，類似名稱還有The Very Best of、The Best of、The Greatest Hits Collection、Good等。精選集收錄藝人前幾張錄音室專輯中的代表歌曲，一般沒有新歌。

簡介

Queen（皇后樂隊）1981年的精選集《Greatest Hits》在英國成為首張銷量超過600萬張的唱片。

Eagles（老鷹樂隊）1976年的精選集《Their Greatest Hits （1971–1975）》成為在美國銷量最高的精選集唱片，與Michael Jackson1982年的專輯《Thriller》同獲29白金認證（RIAA），同時也是全球銷量第三高的唱片（4200萬張）。

註：RIAA給《Thriller》的定位是“美國歷史上最暢銷的錄音室唱片”，而給《Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975》的定位是“美國歷史上最暢銷的精選集唱片”。
