Evergrey

Evergrey是一個來自瑞典的前衛金屬樂隊。他們於1998年發行了首張專輯《The Dark Discovery》。隨後發行專輯《Solitude Dominance Tragedy》。2001年，他們發行了更具突破意義的專輯《In Search of Truth》。

樂隊概述

前衛金屬樂壇里充斥著太多的樂隊，他們以結構繁複，曲目冗長而自以為出色。音樂被當成了一種顯示的手段，除非聽者是樂手本人，否則只會在聆聽時感到乏味而了無生趣。瑞典的Evergrey是其中的另類。他們在主唱Tom S. Englund的帶領下，以發人深省的歌詞，獨特的歌曲結構，當然還有出類拔萃的音樂技巧在這個領域拓展出了自己的一片天地。Englund的嗓音變化多端，從迷人的淨嗓到粗糙強力的正宗金屬之音都運用的遊刃有餘。樂隊的風格融和了旋律化的前衛金屬和傳統金屬，並恰到好處的加入了一些優美的民謠曲風，可以說他們完全創立了屬於自己的風格，其獨特的幽暗冰冷的氣質在金屬界可謂獨樹一幟。
