《cut in love》由於某些音樂論壇沒有標明原名，被誤認為成了日本女作曲家Yoko Shimomura（下村陽子）的鋼琴作品dance to the death（死亡舞步）。
所以，那首耳熟能詳的鋼琴曲真名為《Cut in Love》
下村陽子是有一首dance to the death，但那是日本遊戲《Kingdom Hearts II》中的鋼琴曲，兩首曲子旋律並不一樣。
網路上廣為流傳的Dance to the death 和下村陽子在《Kingdom Hearts II》中的鋼琴曲dance to the death 並不是同一首曲子，下村陽子的那首網路上資源很少，而廣為流傳的那首的真正名字是Cut in Love ，是July的作品。
