The Afters，這是只聽曲風有些Brip-Pop風格的美國樂隊，但是美國人把他們叫做Christian Rock。Amazon上有一條顧客留言非常有意思，他說：“我買這張CD是因為他們的主唱和我老婆去同一個教堂。所以當他們發行了新專輯時我不得不買，但是聽了之後才真的驚訝。不完美，但絕對的好聽和感人。”
關於這個樂隊的介紹並不多，因為他們並不是很出名。最早的時候Joshua Havens和Matt Fuqua兩個人在德克薩斯州的一家星巴克咖啡店裡為顧客唱歌，兩個人都負責演唱和彈奏吉他。後來他們決定組建一個樂隊，於是找來了貝斯手Brad Wigg和鼓手Marc Dodd組了個樂隊起名叫Blisse。
2000年的時候他們錄製了一張有6首歌的EP，這為他們賺了足夠的錢來完成他們的首張專輯When the World is Wonderful的製作(此時樂隊還沒有與大廠牌簽約，這張專輯是獨立唱片)。
有意思的是後來他們發現已經有一個樂隊用了Blisse這個名字，於是他們把名字改成了The Afters，繼續在當地的一些俱樂部里演奏。再後來他們被唱片公司發現並且同大廠牌Epic Records簽了4張專輯的契約。在Epic公司發行的第一張專輯就是今天介紹的這張2005年2月發行的I Wish We All Could Win。期中包括了一些他們自己錄製的那張專輯中的幾首歌曲。
有一次Joshua Havens的老婆離開他，Joshua找不到他老婆了，於是Joshua寫下了專輯中的第一支單曲"Beautiful Love"。這首歌還是今年3月份開始放映的MTV台真人秀"8th and Ocean"的主題曲。
