黃平，1954年出生於福建省廈門市，1982年畢業於福建師範大學藝術系油畫專業，獲文學學士學位，現任集美大學藝術學院教授。
1987年考入中央美術學院油畫系第四屆研修班
現為中國美術家協會福建分會會員、中國油畫學會廈門會員
創作的作品曾多次參加國內外較高級別的畫展
2001年油畫作品《母與女》入選全國首屆小幅油畫展，並赴韓國、美國展覽；
2003年粉畫作品《畫室里的人體》入選全國首屆粉畫展，並被中國粉畫藝術館收藏。

2001 The oil painting “Mother and Daughter” was selected for the first National Small Oil Painting Exhibition,and exhibited in South Korea and The United States
2003 The pastel painting “Body in the studio” was selected for the first National Pastel Painting Exhibition,and collected by the China Pastel Painting Museum
