陳國旺，1935年6月4日生。1957年畢業於北京大學數學力學系，同年來鄭州大學數學系任教至今。

個人簡介
1957年來鄭州大學數學系任教至今，在此期間於1960年2月被選派為國家公派出國留學人員赴北京外國語學院學俄語，同年10月赴捷克斯洛伐克查理士大學數學研究所攻讀副博士學位，於1964年10月在該校獲副博士學位並學成回國。多年來一直從事套用數學和非線性偏微分方程的教學和科研工作。先後任講師、副教授、教授和博士生導師。自1978年起主持一個非線性偏微分方程討論班至今。參與了《偏微分方程》創辦，1988年正式創刊出版。1988年至2010年2月曾任副主編之一併負責編輯部日常工作。該雜誌對我國偏微分方程的發展及與國外的學術交流起到了積極作用。
陳國旺,1989年被評為河南省優秀教師，1992年開始享受政府特殊津貼，1993年被命名為河南省優秀專家，1997年被評為河南省優秀科技期刊出版工作者。 研究方向： 非線性發展方程。
獲獎情況
1. 合作完成的《升板建築設計與施工技術——預應力錐形柱帽》獲1978年全國科學大會獎。
2. 合作完成的《預應力錐形柱帽升板結構》獲1978年河南省重大科學技術成果獎。
