鐘子信(香港中文大學數學系教授，美國工業與套用數學學會會士)

人物經歷

1998年，鐘子信畢業於香港中文大學，獲得數學學士學位。

2000年，獲得香港中文大學數學碩士學位。

2005年，獲得美國加州大學洛杉磯分校博士學位（導師為Bjorn Engquist）。

2005年至2006年，在加州大學爾灣分校擔任訪問助理教授。

2006年至2008年，在加州理工學院擔任von Kármán講師。

2008年，加入香港中文大學數學系，擔任助理教授。

2014年，晉升為副教授。

2015年至2020年，擔任德克薩斯農工大學數學系兼職教授。

2017年，晉升為香港中文大學數學系教授。

2021年至2023年，擔任香港中文大學數學系副系主任。

2022年，擔任香港中文大學理學院傑出學人。

2025年，當選美國工業與套用數學學會（SIAM）會士，以表彰他在數值分析與多尺度方法方面的卓越研究。他也是該年度唯一來自亞洲的獲選學者。

鐘子信長期從事套用與計算數學領域研究，尤其在偏微分方程的數值方法、多尺度建模與模擬，以及科學計算等範疇。

截至2025年5月，他已在《科學引文索引》（SCI）收錄的數學期刊上發表逾200篇研究論文。
