wh-量化結構的句法語義自20世紀七八十年代以來成為生成語法中重要的課題之一。《論wh量化/中國語言學書院·海外語言學博士論文文庫》從wh-量化切入，分析自然語言在邏輯語義的層面如何對不同性質的wh-詞進行解讀。作者認為砌一詞解讀的跨語言和語言內的差別由wh-詞的性質（運算元vs.變數），wh-詞的句法分布（移位vs.原位）以及解讀機制（wh移位/無選擇約束）決定，而wh-詞跨語言的句法差異取決於以上三個維度不同的參數設定。
