1989年從南京師範大學數學係數學教育專業本科畢業，分配至江蘇省丹陽市建山中學從事教學工作。1992年考入南京師範大學數學系攻讀計算數學碩士學位，1995年碩士畢業分配至江蘇科技大學數理學院從事教學工作。2003年考入南京航空航天大學攻讀一般力學與力學基礎專業博士學位，讀博期間曾獲江蘇省博士研究生創新基金資助。2007年畢業並獲工學博士學位。長期從事結構動力學反問題、矩陣反問題與廣義逆矩陣理論的科研和教學工作，獲98－99年度、01－02年度江蘇科技大學優秀教學質量獎；被評為00－01學年、01－02學年江蘇科技大學優秀教師及07－08學年江蘇科技大學師德建設先進個人。是江蘇省高校“青藍工程”第二期計畫省級優秀青年骨幹教師培養人選。2005年以來，在矩陣方程、代數特徵值反問題、結構有限元模型修正等方面取得了許多研究成果，以第一作者身份在《Applied Numerical Mathematics》、《Journal of Computational and Applied Mathematics》、《Computers and Mathematics with Applications》、《Mathematical Problems in Engineering》、《Applied Mathematics and Computation》、《套用數學學報》、《計算數學》、《高等學校計算數學學報》、《振動與衝擊》等國內外學術刊物上發表科研論文36篇，其中SCI收錄6篇，SCIE收錄2篇，EI收錄5篇。
