早期從事單克隆抗體的製備與套用研究, 94年開始從事腫瘤研究,先後針對端粒酶和腫瘤免疫開展腫瘤診治的基礎研究；近年來從幹細胞和器官炎症損傷認識腫瘤發生及復發的機制。
獲獎情況
曾獲國家科技進步獎2項、軍隊科技進步獎3項、上海科技獎2項。獲得國家發明專利9項。先後被評為上海市醫學領軍人才、上海市曙光學者、上海市優秀學科帶頭人及上海市浦江人。先後發表論文100多篇，其中SCI收錄65篇，國際上被引用3000多次。
