人物經歷
2004年獲得北京師範大學博士學位，北京師範大學認知神經科學與學習國家重點IDG/McGovern Institute for Brain Research實驗室教授、985首席科學家；長江學者特聘教授，腦與學習科學研究中心主任， 博士生導師。 1999年和2005年分別在北京師範大學獲心理學學士和博士學位。入選中組部首批青年千人計畫入選者以及教育部新世紀人才計畫。擔任中國教育學會腦科學與教育分會副理事長，Cortex雜誌副主編。
研究方向
主要從事人類學習和記憶、語言和第二語言學習、執行功能與決策的認知和神經機制研究，所運用的研究方法包括功能磁共振成像、腦電、跨顱電刺激、行為和基因等。運用大樣本基因－腦－行為技術揭示人腦高級功能（執行功能、學習、記憶、決策和語言等）的遺傳和神經機制，並探討利用行為，神經反饋和無損腦刺激等手段來提高人腦學習功能的新方法。
主要貢獻
近年來主持和共同主持美國自然科學基金、美國NICHD、國家自然科學基金重點項目等項目。以第一作者或者通訊作者身份在Science, PNAS，Journal of Neuroscience，Cerebral Cortex等學術刊物上發表50多篇具有影響力的學術論文。薛貴博士還擔當Science, Neuron，Current Biology, Trends in Cognitive Sciences、Journal of Neuroscience、Archives of General Psychiatry、 Human Brain Mapping、Neuroimage等20多個國際刊物，以及美國NSF、英國ESRC、法國ANR和香港RGC等基金會的評審人。
