Samuel Bowles is Professor of Economics at the University of Massachusetts.He was previously Associate Professor of Economics,Harvard University,and Visiting Professor at the University of Havana.He is author of Planning Educational Systems for Economic Growth(Harvard University Press,1969).
Herbert Gintis is Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Massachusetts,and was previously Assistant Professor of Economics,Harvard University.He is co-author of Inequality(Basic Books,1972).
