1946年開始舉辦，已舉辦66屆

洛迦諾電影節每年七八月間在瑞士風光旖旎的小城洛迦諾舉辦，是國際A類電影節之一，也是世界上歷史最為悠久的電影節之一。華語電影最早出現在洛迦諾國際電影節的是陳凱歌導演的《黃土地》。
