1989年，東北師範大學生物學專業，學士學位；

科研領域
環境微生物學、微生物生理學、微生物分子生態學。
微生物具有強大的分解代謝和生物合成能力，本課題組致力於從微生物分子生態學、生理學以及遺傳學層面揭示自然環境中重要的微生物過程，推進環境微生物問題的科學認知並耦合分子生物學和基因工程學思想開發新型微生物控制技術。早期的研究我們主要聚焦環境因子如何影響微生物代謝驅動的碳氮循環及有機物降解過程。隨著分子生物學技術的發展，我們開始利用微生物靶向培養組、基因組、轉錄組、代謝組以及生物信息等技術在物種水平、細胞代謝調控以及群落代謝功能水平上鑑別和預測微生物種群、群落驅動元素循環及典型有機污染物降解的生理功能，並將其套用於促進人體健康、控制水域富營養化、減緩溫室效應以及生物修復污染環境等實踐中。
2024年8月，細胞應激生物學國家重點實驗室、廈門大學生命科學學院田蘊教授和鄧賢明教授合作在Science Advances上發表題為“Algicidal bacteria-derived membrane vesicles as shuttles mediating cross-kingdom interactions between bacteria and algae”的研究論文，首次報導了細菌膜囊泡（BMVs）作為生物穿梭體介導細菌和真核微藻之間的跨界通訊。
