2004年畢業於北京師範大學生物科學專業，獲理學學士學位；2010年獲北京師範大學生態學方向博士學位；攻博期間，獲“國家建設高水平大學公派研究生項目”資助，訪學加州大學洛杉磯分校一年。2010年8月留校工作於北京師範大學生命科學學院。
主要研究內容
分子食性和動物覓食行為研究：利用二代測序技術和非損傷取樣法，分析動物的食性組成。探討動物覓食行為的生理、遺傳和進化基礎。
景觀遺傳學和譜系地理學研究：探討自然和人類景觀格局對動物和植物的擴散、適應和成種的影響，研究群落內不同物種應對氣候變化的回響及其機制，探討群落形成歷史。
以上研究工作主要在東北虎國家公園開展，旨在了解和保護東北虎豹及其所在的生態系統。
