工作業績
在美期間，主要參與美國FDA的天然植物藥物和食品補充劑研究項目。在提取分離純化標準品，質量控制研究過程中，從原產地為巴西的減肥產品Cha de Bugre中發現了24個新的化合物，包括系列稀有的Clerodane 和Ent-kaurane型二萜苷和含氮二萜類化合物，以及罕見的三聚體木質素等。通過深入細緻的成分研究，結合HPLC、HPTLC和生藥學基源鑑定等技術手段，指出和糾正Cha de Bugre基源為Casearia sylvestris （Flacourtiaceae）而不是Cordia salicifolia (Boraginaceae)。為該產品的成分研究，安全性再評價和深入的質量標準研究作出了重要貢獻。從來源於印度的著名傳統藥物Arjuna (Terminalia arjuna) 中首次發現了8個新化合物，尤其是發現5個18，19位開環齊墩果酸型的新骨架三萜皂苷，並報導了相關抗瘧疾和抗微生物活性。從另一巴西傳統藥用植物“Acai”(Euterpe oleracea)中首次分離得到4個新的具有強氧化性多酚化合物和新木質素成份。在美四年多期間以第一作者完成11篇SCI研究論文。
博士期間，以第一作者發表了6篇SCI論文。從民間傳統藥物異型南五味子中首次發現了22個結構新穎的新化合物和相關的抗愛滋、抗腫瘤活性，建立了多成分HPLC含量測定方法和指紋圖譜。
組織完成了十多個國家級中西新藥（原二、三類）和保健食品的研究開發工作，協調各合作單位和生產廠家，獲得了十個臨床批文（頤神養腦膠囊，川紅活血膠囊，阿克他利片、法力膠囊、宮環止血片、丹龍醒腦片、口瘡寧片、腸寧凝膠、經安片和丹芍化纖膠囊）和二個保健食品證書（克乏膠囊、爾康膠囊）。
其他方面
完成深圳賽百諾基因藥物公司委託的“基因治療藥物重組腺病毒P-53注射劑的評估”中主要技術調研、評估工作 (2000)；
完成國內上市公司煙臺發展委託的“定量螢光PCR技術諮詢”中主要技術調研、評估、評價工作 (2001)。
