楊小平,1964年4月出生,寧夏固原人,中國科學院“百人計畫”入選者,國家傑出青年科學基金獲得者,現任浙江大學地球科學學院教授,國際地貌學家協會(IAG)副主席、中國地理學會地貌與第四紀專業委員會副主任。曾任中國科學院地質與地球物理研究所研究員。

2017年3月9日,楊小平全職加盟浙江大學地球科學學院。

個人履歷

1980-1984:陝西師範大學地理系本科生,獲理學學士學位;
楊小平研究員楊小平研究員
1984年9月-1988年2月:原中國科學院蘭州沙漠研究所研究生 (1984年9月-1985年11月為南京大學地理系代培研究生;1986年9月前為碩士生,1986年10月後為博士生);
1992年在J. Hoevermann教授指導下於德國格廷根(Goettingen)大學獲自然科學博士學位。
曾先後在格廷根大學地理所、格廷根科學院、瑞典隆德大學德國海德堡大學從事研究與教學工作。
1997年入選中國科學院環境地質“百人計畫”,2004年獲國家傑出青年基金。
2017年3月9日,楊小平全職加盟浙江大學地球科學學院。

學術成就

主要從事乾旱地區環境及其演化、風沙地貌及風沙災害防治、乾旱地區古氣候與水資源、綠洲演化等方面的研究。
十餘年來,楊小平研究員主要致力於乾旱區第四紀地質與環境的研究工作,歸納起來,主要在沙漠地區的湖泊特徵及其全新世以來的演化,我國西北沙漠地區晚更新世以來的環境變化及其機制,以及乾旱區天然綠洲形成發育規律等方面作出了突出學術貢獻。總體上可以歸結為以下三個方面:
1)研究發現我國最大的塔克拉瑪乾沙漠、有世界上最高大沙丘的巴丹吉林沙漠的特徵在晚第四紀時期發生過顯著變化,在距今約3萬年時等時段經歷過較濕潤的氣候,沙區出現大規模濕地景觀,提出和論證了湖泊作用及流水過程在現代沙漠環境特徵塑造中的重要作用;
2)對巴丹吉林沙漠丘間地眾多湖泊的特徵及水位變化開展了詳細研究,在高大沙丘之間發現古文明遺蹟,提出巴丹吉林沙漠在全新世中期時由於東亞夏季風加強,沙區氣候相對較濕潤,湖泊濕地廣布,適宜人類活動、居住。對巴丹吉林沙漠地區的水面、陸面蒸發和地下水補給情況進行了新的評估,首次提出當地湖面年均實際蒸發量大約為1000 mm, 區域降水對沙區地下水補給有著顯著貢獻;
3)在重建渾善達克沙地全新世氣候變化時,對古降水量變化進行了半定量、定量研究,在該沙地首次報導了距今5000-6000年前紅山文化時期的時期和陶片。在論證荒漠化機制方面,首次提出渾善達克沙地的荒漠化不僅與氣候整體旱化有關,更與約4200年前發生的水文、地貌過程密切相連,西拉木倫河向沙地內部溯源侵蝕,通過地下水流侵蝕 “襲奪” 了渾善達克沙地的水源,使多個湖泊乾枯,並對該區的古文明造成毀滅性的影響。
2013年8月在法國巴黎舉辦四年一度的“第八屆國際地貌大會”上,進行了新一屆IAG執行委員會的選舉,法國巴黎索邦 (Sorbonne)大學Eric Fouache教授當選新一屆主席。中科院地質與地球物理所研究員楊小平當選為該組織最新一任副主席,分管該學會的學術工作組及與亞太地區的聯繫,是三位副主席之一,也是IAG成立30年來第一位來自中國的副主席。任職時間從2013年10月至2017年10月。
