主要履歷

1985年畢業於四川大學生物系生化專業;
1991年獲中國農科院研究生院生物物理專業農學博士學位;
1988.8--1993.8,中國農科院原子能所生物技術室;
1993.8--1994.5,法國巴斯德研究所生物技術系博士後,從事聯合固氮基因克隆和表達研究;
1997.6--1998.4,荷蘭瓦赫寧根荷蘭農業科學院植保所訪問學者,從事基因工程固氮微生物環境釋放生物安全評價技術研究;
2002.12-至今,中國農業科學院生物技術研究所研究員、博士生導師、所長。

社會兼職

曾任“十五”國家“863”計畫生物領域生物工程技術主題專家組專家、國家自然科學基金委員會第十一屆生命科學部評審組專家。2009年國家傑出青年基金獲得者。現為國家生物基因工程安全委員會委員、中國農業生物技術學會常務副理事長、中國生物工程學會副理事長。

研究方向

主要從事水稻聯合固氮微生物的功能基因組和合成生物學研究,以及抗除草劑、耐輻射、抗鹽耐旱等特殊功能微生物基因資源的開發利用。

主要貢獻

近年來主持和參加國家863計畫“特殊微生物基因資源開發利用”、國家傑出青年科學基金項目“固氮施氏假單胞菌A1501功能基因組”、國家973計畫“聯合固氮菌固氮基因網路調控與酶催化分子機理”、國家轉基因重大專項“抗逆和抗除草劑關鍵基因克隆及功能驗證”、科技部國際合作重大課題“轉基因成分檢測技術的研究”等課題。
近年來開展了系統深入的研究工作並取得如下進展:
(1)完成了斯氏假單胞菌A1501全基因組測序,是目前國際上完成全基因組序列分析的第一例聯合固氮菌。利用基因晶片、適時定量PCR和非極性突變株構建等方法,鑑定了一系列可能參與細菌氮信號傳導或保持最佳固氮水平的新基因,開展了固氮系統進化、固氮網路調控、以及固氮調控元件和功能模組的合成生物學系統研究。
(2)從極端環境如新疆戈壁灘、核爆炸中心區沙漠土壤取樣,建立了微生物生態基因組文庫並開始進行了元基因組測序,鑑定了多株耐輻射微生物屬新種,開展了耐輻射新種D. gobiensis I-0全基因組、轉錄組和蛋白組分析以及極端抗性機制的研究工作。獲得一系列具有潛在抗逆能力如耐鹽/抗旱的功能基因。耐輻射總體調控基因irrE在大腸桿菌中的表達增強細胞的耐輻射能力和提高細胞抗氧化能力,將irrE基因導入菸草、油菜中,明顯提高了植物耐鹽抗旱性能。
(3)克隆了一系列新型草甘膦抗性EPSPS編碼基因。構建了含草苷膦抗性EPSP合酶基因和草甘膦N-乙醯轉移酶(GAT)基因的單價和雙價植物表達質粒,通過膿桿菌介導方法導入不具草甘膦抗性的菸草、油菜、玉米品種中,通過花粉管通道法轉入棉花中,分別獲得了能夠耐受草甘膦的轉基因棉花、油菜、水稻、玉米、大豆、小麥等。轉基因棉花和油菜已進入生物安全評價的中間試驗階段,轉基因抗草甘膦玉米已批准進入環境釋放。
申請與抗草甘膦基因和耐鹽抗旱基因相關的國內專利二十餘項,國際PCT專利4項,其中獲國內專利4項, 美國專利1項。培養碩士研究生12名,指導博士研究生15名。
