出版有《朱墨畫集》、《朱墨詩書畫集》、《朱墨水墨畫選》等專著。先後有多幅作品被國家博物館收藏，作品多次入選全國美展，其成就被載入《戰士名人錄》、《當代美術家辭典》、《中國書法家名錄》等多部大典。他是我國立體書法和書畫指紋印的發明者。他發明的立體書法為我國書法藝術領域開闢了一條新路，他發明的書畫指紋印將使書畫贗品無所遁形，該印的發明被專家譽為“書畫家的護身符，書畫贗品的剋星”，這兩項發明皆獲國家發明專利。其事跡先後被中央電視台、人民日報、廣東電視台、中國日報、解放日報、中國書畫報、羊城晚報等數百家新聞媒體作過專題報導。先後近十次受到軍委主席江澤民、副主席張萬年等最高首長的接見。為了表彰他的卓越成就，部隊先後兩次為他記三等功。
朱墨現為聯合國教科文組織專家，中國書畫家學會副主席，中國中青年書畫家協會副主席，人民日報《人民論壇》年度傑出人物，中國美術家、書法家協會會員，“前進中國”書畫藝術大賽評審委員，中國藝術研究院創作委員，廣東省文化學會書畫藝術委員會副會長，廣州軍區司令部美術創作員。
Zhu Mo, also known as Shouzhang and Man from the Wulong Mountain, was born in Xian Tao, Hubei Province. He graduated from South China Institute of Fine Arts in 1992 and has published several books on calligraphy and art, including “Zhu Mo Painting Collections”, “Zhu Mo Poems, Calligraphy and Painting Selections”, and “Selected Artworks of Zhu Mo Ink Painting”. A number of his artworks have been collected by the national museum. Many of his artworks have also been selected for national art exhibitions. His name is on the “List of Well Known Soldiers”, “Dictionary of Contemporary Fine Arts” and “Famous Chinese Calligraphers” and other major dictionaries. His 3D calligraphy style and his fingerprint seal used for artworks have been patented. The 3D calligraphy style developed by him is unique and has created a new direction for Chinese calligraphy and fine arts. His fingerprint seal for calligraphy and painting is dubbed as the protege for calligraphers and fine artists, as well as a curse for fake calligraphy and fake artworks. Thus, it will destroy the market for fake artworks.
Over a hundred media groups, including Chinese CCTV, the People’s Daily, China Daily newspaper, GDTV, PLA Daily, Chinese Calligraphy and Paintings and Yangcheng Newspaper have special coverage about him and his achievements. Chinese military supremos such as the former Chinese President and president of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army, Jiang Ze Ming, and his deputy, Zhang Wan Nian, formally met with him over 10 times. The Chinese People’s Liberation Army has awarded him two bronze medals for his outstanding achievements. He is currently working with UNESCO as an expert artist and he is also deputy president of the Young Chinese Calligraphers and Fine Artists Association. He was awarded the Outstanding Person of the Year by the ‘People’s Forum’ segment of the People’s Daily newspaper.
Zhu Mo is a member of the Chinese Art Association and Chinese Calligraphy Association and is on the judging panel of “Advance China” Calligraphy and Fine Arts Competition. He is a research panel member of the Chinese Institute of Fine Arts and is the vice president of the Calligraphy and Fine Art Committee of Guangdong Cultural Association, and an in-house artist of Guangdong Military Command.
