2005年於新加坡國立大學工業與系統工程系獲得博士學位。2006年至2012年在丹麥Aalborg大學任助理教授、副教授，2012年至今在英國Teesside大學任教授(Reader)。近5年在Journal of Artificial Intelligence Research、Journal of Autonomous Agents and Multi-Agent Systems等國際重要刊物上發表論文數十篇，在Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence(AAAI)、International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence(IJCAI)、Autonomous Agents and Multiagent Systems(AAMAS)等國際一級會議上發表論文二十多篇。擔任數十個國際一級會議（AAAI、IJCAI、AAMAS、PAKDD等）和國際權威期刊（Virtual Reality Journal、Journal of Soft Computing等）的審稿員和評審委員會委員，多次受邀在大會和區域研究討論會作學術報告。
