1998年中國醫科大學本科畢業後主要從事腫瘤的臨床工作，擅長肺癌和食管癌以放療為主的綜合治療。外語基礎較好，善於學習本專業前沿知識，掌握腫瘤治療的最新信息和方法。作為負責人主持國家自然科學基金面上項目2項，中國博士後基金特別資助、中國博士後基金一等資助各1項，在國內外專業雜誌發表論文40餘篇，其中SCI收錄15篇，被引用90餘次。申請國家專利1項，獲省級獎勵2項。
