在玉米田的小孩的這一部中，邪教組織領導不再是小孩子了，這次換了一個中年怪男子，他統領著孩兒們。而一群青年從城市而來，車子壞掉，因此闖入怪異的鄉村小鎮，多么熟悉的情節！LUke,一個老男人，在這個城鎮中掌握一票孩子，高坐在邪教之王的位置上。不過luke似乎是一個傀儡，他最終的原型是什麼，這個劇情中沒有最終揭露，但似乎是藏在人身體中的異型。他和警長同歸於盡。然後女主角殺死了一個首領小男孩。整體片子的結尾稍顯唐突，但很有隱喻性，我真得不能徹底看明白。本片線索是女主角的弟弟進入了這個邪教，而女主角為了不惜生命的拯救弟弟，但最終弟弟還是死去。這一情節很感人，這是這個系列有史以來第一次有感人情節的劇情出現，也算是納入新世紀恐怖片範疇的標誌，整體拍攝手法也開始逐漸如流，擺脫了經典的荒誕恐怖的老美恐片感覺。片尾曲十分出色，憂傷唯美。
