徐金龍，男，1984年出生，內蒙古人，中共黨員，中國科學院國家天文台副研究員，碩士生導師。

2012年獲得中科院研究生院天體物理專業博士學位。同年入職中科院國家天文台工作至今。2015年晉升為副研究員。2010年獲得教育部博士研究生學術新人獎，2011年獲得中科院院長優秀獎，2019年入選中科院青促會會員。
主要從事科學研究和工程技術兩個方面的工作。研究成果主要發表於ApJL、ApJ、A&AL、A&A、MNRAS等國際知名期刊，累計45篇，其中第一作者21篇和通訊作者2篇。並在國際期刊上發表了FAST的第一篇譜線觀測文章和第一篇星系的中性氫大尺度成圖觀測文章。先後承擔和參與多項國家自然科學基金項目、中科院專項、地區基金項目。
研究發現
2023年12月，中國科學院國家天文台發布科研動態，表示徐金龍等研究人員利用 FAST 中性氫觀測數據，帶來了關於大質量透鏡星系如何形成的新見解。
研究團隊觀察近鄰星系群中的一個大質量透鏡星系，發現是由一個晚型的漩渦星系，在一群矮星系的潮汐作用下通過形態轉化所形成的新方式。研究團隊還首次發現一個光學亮－暗星系對，其伴星系可能是一個新形成的原星系，這一發現也將為星系形成領域的研究帶來新的視角。
