先後參加國家重點基礎研究發展規劃項目、國家自然科學基金3項、教育部優秀青年教師教學科研獎勵計畫以及臨沂師範學院世界銀行貸款項目的研究。從事大型分析儀器雷射粒度儀的使用與維護工作。先後在《土壤學報》、《沉積學報》、《乾旱區地理》、《海洋地質與第四紀地質》、《中國沙漠》、《地理與地理信息科學》、《中國科技論壇》、《農村經濟》等期刊發表論文20餘篇,在IGARSS第25屆年會發表論文1篇,被EI收錄,在《Earth Surface Processes and Landforms》(SCI)發表論文一篇,該論文首次建立了砂含量與騰格里沙漠南緣距離的數學模型,通過沙漠邊緣冰溝剖面粒度的研究並結合光釋光年代定量地反演騰格里沙漠邊界進退的歷史,填補了該區研究的空白。後在中國科學院寒區旱區環境與工程研究所師從王濤研究員進行博士後研究,現已出站。研究方向為地貌過程與沙漠化研究。主持山東省自然科學基金、臨沂市社科基金各一項。
