張立新，浙江大學求是特聘教授、博士生導師，數學系系副主任，杭州市錢江特聘專家。
1995年獲博士學位， 1997年破格晉升為教授，1999年被評為博士生導師，2000年起擔任浙江大學統計研究所副所長、所長。現任浙江大學數學系副主任、中國現場統計研究會理事、 浙江省數學會理事、浙江省現場統計研究會副理事長、IMS-China 理事。主要從事機率極限理論、相依模型、自適應設計及相關領域的研究，相繼主持5項國家自然科學基金項目，發表了學術論文120多篇，數篇發表在 《Annals of Statistics》、《Annals of Probability》、《Annals of Applied Probability》等國際頂級刊物上，被SCI收錄90多篇。

已培養博士14名，碩士30餘名。曾經獲得教育部科技進步獎二等獎一項、浙江省教育廳科技進步獎三項、統計局全國統計科學研究優秀成果獎二等獎一項，於1997年獲浙江省青少年英才獎，於1998年入選“浙江省跨世紀學術和技術帶頭人”培養人員、2008年入選教育部“新世紀優秀人才支持計畫”、2010年獲得浙江省自然科學基金傑出青年基金、2012年獲得國家自然科學基金傑出青年基金。
