宗奕吾，曾任天津大學博士後。研究方向為膠體組裝體（液晶、晶體、玻璃）結構及動力學、自驅動Janus微球在複雜環境中的運動行為。
主持國家自然科學基金青年項目《自驅動的Janus微球在無規障礙物中運動行為的研究》（批准號11704276，2018-2020年）及天津市自然科學基金青年項目，參與合成生物學國家重點研發專項（項目骨幹，2019-2024年）。在《The Journal of Chemical Physics》發表研究，揭示帶電膠體系統的流變學測量與鍵合/籠效應差異。
