博士，男，研究員，博士生導師。1986 -1994年在中國科學院蘭州地質研究所任研究實習員、助理研究員， 主要從事近現代、現代沉積有機地球化學及其在環境和油氣勘探方面的套用研究；1992年-1994年在澳大利亞CSIRO石油地質研究所進行訪問研究；1999年-2001年在美國布魯克文（Brookhaven National Laboratory）國家實驗室環境科學系開展博士後研究；2000年入選中國科學院“引進國外傑出人才計畫”。2001年至今在中國科學院廣州地球化學研究所工作。
主要從事
有機地球化學及其在油氣成因勘探及環境領域的理論和套用研究。目前的主要研究領域和方向有：有機地球化學在原油裂解氣、古氣候環境恢復重建、現代海底沉積環境和海底水合物有關的生物有機地球化學過程等方面的基礎與套用研究，以及大氣細粒子化學成分線上監測技術研究及其在大氣污染研究及其防治中的套用。
