劇情簡介

1916年的俄國革命使羅曼諾夫王朝最後一位沙皇滿門覆亡，但沙皇的小公主安娜塔西婭和皇太后Dowager慌亂中逃出生路，但兩人很快失散。十年後，安娜塔西婭公主長大成人，她的名字叫Anya，對自己的身世所知甚少。皇太后Dowager在巴黎時刻惦記著小孫女，她懸賞重金搜尋小公主下落。一個偶然的機會，騙子Dmitri見到了Anya，決定利用她假冒公主騙取賞金。同時Anya本人也正努力弄清自己的身世，在這個過程中兩人竟漸生情愫……但危險時刻存在，比如Rasputin，他曾向沙皇一家下毒咒，並發誓要殺死最後一名皇室成員……
自從羅曼諾夫王朝被推翻後，八十多年來不斷有人提起安娜塔西婭，也不斷有人站出來宣布自己就是安娜塔西婭，但最後都被證明是假冒，因此安娜塔西婭也成為了炙手可熱的影視題材。二十世紀福克斯公司為本片耗費了五千萬美元，請到了Meg Ryan等大牌演員為本片配音，並獲當年奧斯卡最佳電影音樂提名。
