劉自信（1946年4月23日-），男，重慶開縣人，中共黨員，河南師範大學物理學院教授、碩士生導師。1968年畢業於四川大學物理系，1981年獲河南師範大學與武漢大學聯合培養理學碩士學位，同年留校任教。1991年晉升教授，曾任省級重點學科理論物理學科帶頭人。
劉自信主要從事場論套用與凝聚態理論研究，在《物理雜誌》等期刊發表論文60餘篇，其中30餘篇被SCI收錄。主持國家自然科學基金項目《量子阱中的極化子和極化激元》獲1998年特優評價。主講《量子力學》《量子場論》課程，獲國家級優秀教學成果二等獎。享受國務院政府特殊津貼，獲河南省勞動模範、全國曾憲梓教育基金優秀教師獎等榮譽。培養的研究生3人入選中科院'百人計畫'。

個人簡介
1981年10月至今在河南師範大學物理與信息工程學院任教，此間曾在英國Newcastle大學理論物理系從事過量子場論研究。1991年底晉升教授。其研究方向為‘場論套用與凝聚態理論’，已在國內外重要學術刊物上發表了近70篇學術論文。
