劉學端

劉學端,男,1964年生,湖南省湘鄉市人,博士,教授。1986年畢業於湖南農業大學獲農學學士學位,1989於北京農業大學獲農學碩士學位,隨後分配到湖南農業大學從事植物病理教學與科研工作,分別於1992年晉升為講師,1997年晉升為副教授,2000年5月考取美國橡樹嶺國家實驗室與湖南農業大學聯合培養博士生,8月赴美師從著名的美籍華裔微生物學家周集中博士,從事微生物基因晶片與功能基因組學的研究,2003年12月完成學業回國,獲博士學位,2004年晉升為教授。

劉學端,出國前主要從事植物病理學,特別是植物病毒學的教學與科研工作,是湖南省重點學科和重點課程---植物病理學學科建設的主要實施者,植物病理學被評為湖南省優秀重點課程,教改課題獲湖南省教學成果2等獎(排名第4),科研獲湖南省科技進步1等獎(主要研究人員)和3等獎(排名第2)各1項。在美國橡樹嶺國家實驗室的3年多時間裡,先後承擔了與微生物分子生態和功能基因組學有關的5項課題,特別是開創性地發展和套用基因晶片技術進行環境微生物群落分析和基因功能解析,已發表SCI論文20餘篇,被SCI引用200多次;主編和參編待出版的專著各1部,在各類國際會議上發表論文和摘要15篇。
