2001-2006年就讀於南京大學地理學院，學習城市規劃與設計專業，2006年獲工學學士學位。
2006-2009年，就讀於南京大學地理學院城市與區域規劃系，研究方向主要為城市文化與城市文化戰略，2009年獲工學碩士。
2009-2013年，英國劍橋大學攻讀博士學位。主要研究城市文化經濟與城市空間的複雜互動系統。
2013-2015年，英國劍橋大學博士後副研究員（Research Associate），主要研究國際碳交易網路與博弈。
2015- 2016 ，華中科技大學建築與城市規劃學院， 副教授。
2016-現在，華中科技大學建築與城市規劃學院，教授，博導
