佘厚德，甘肅金昌人，2001年於西安交通大學獲化學工程學士學位，2010獲廈門大學材料物理與化學專業博士學位，同年進入西北師範大學任教。現主要的研究興趣在於光催化合成以及能量轉化領域等綠色化工新技術。本人主持並完成國家自然科學基金委項目一項，企業合作項目一項。申請國家發明專利20餘項，已授權9項，指導研究生在Applied Catalysis B: Environmental (IF:13)， ACS Sustainable Chemistry &Engineering（IF：6），Chemical Communications等國際期刊發表SCI論文14篇。積極開展國內外合作交流，現為中國化學會會員，中國化工學會會員。

研究領域
主要工作聚焦於有關太陽能綜合利用中的納米複合催化劑的製備（e.g.磷化物，TiO2，CdS，BiVO4，etc）。具體有太陽能轉化方向(1)：光解水制氫氣；太陽能存儲利用方向(2)：CO2的光還原制甲烷等；光催化高附加值化工產品的製備方向(3):苯甲醇轉化苯甲醛等；光催化環境修複方向(4):有機物降解，重金屬離子還原。
教學
工作以來，講授過本科必修課程有《化工專業英語》、《機械製圖》、《化工工藝學》、《化學反應工程》、《化工熱力學》、《分離工程》以及《先進分離技術》、《材料製備方法》、《材料分析方法》等研究生課程。
