Palma Violets的風格主要以搖滾為基礎，受到了一些車庫搖滾和迷幻搖滾的影響。樂隊的首支單曲《Best Of Friends》獲得了NME音樂獎“2012年度最佳單曲”（song of the year for 2012）。
與Arctic Monkeys相似，Palma Violets在發行首支單曲之前就已在網上擁有了大量的冬粉，他們的現場演出視頻被大量下載。
