碧昂斯這次的《Run the World (Girls)》是一首宣傳女權主義的俱樂部舞曲，從單曲的歌詞就可見一斑：“男孩，你知道你愛她。我們的聰明足以掙到上百萬的金錢，強健得可以孕育孩子，然後馬上回歸工作。明白嗎？請你最好不要玩弄我。寶貝，不要來這裡，即使討厭我，也希望你愛我。我的建議能建造一個國家，沒有愛情我們也有揮霍不盡的力量，你會願意為我做任何事情。”
這位現年29歲的朱古力美人現在正在加州莫哈韋沙漠與200名來自非洲的舞蹈演員為新歌《Run the World (Girls)》的MV進行緊張的拍攝。該MV由曾執導百變天后Lady Gaga音樂錄影帶的著名導演弗朗西斯-勞倫斯執導，而和碧昂斯一起工作了15年的舞蹈指導弗蘭克-蓋特森（Frank Gatson）則擔任MV的攝影師。

Run The World (Girls)早前，碧昂斯在新歌MV中的造型遭到曝光，在MV中碧昂斯化身古羅馬性感女角鬥士。在拍攝現場，碧昂斯頭戴鑲珠嵌寶的金色華冠，身穿黑色緊身上衣和熱褲，腰系寬大的金色皮帶，宛如從古羅馬穿越而來性感女角鬥士。
據悉，執導新歌MV的導演弗朗西斯認為這次的MV是碧昂斯有史以來最好的作品，其中說道：“我答應過碧昂斯不能透露MV的細節，所以不能說太多。但我能說的是，這次的MV是大製作，可能會是碧昂斯有史以來最好的音樂錄影帶。我能夠保證的是歌曲真的很棒，是一首不可多得的歌曲，所以我真的希望這次的歌曲能夠大熱。我相信MV將會是非常有趣，非常酷，並會為大家帶來一個不同的碧昂斯。”
