人物生平

早年經歷

1943年，Ronnie Milsap在出生時便失去了視力，並且遭到了親生母親的拋棄。Ronnie在5歲時進入了盲人學校學習。在7歲時他開始接觸古典音樂，並學習彈鋼琴，小提琴和吉他。
高中畢業後，他拒絕了埃默里大學的獎學金，而是選擇追逐自己的音樂事業。

演藝經歷

1964年，在他20歲時，Ronnie發布了他的第一首單曲《Total Disaster》。 1965年，他搬到孟菲斯組建了自己的節奏和藍調（R&B）樂隊。 1970年，他們錄製了流行單曲《Loving You is a Natural Thing》。 第二年，Ronnie與華納兄弟唱片簽約，並發行了自己的首張專輯。
1972年12月，Ronnie遇到了音樂生涯中的伯樂鄉村音樂明星Charley Pride。Charley觀看了他的表演，鼓勵他轉型鄉村音樂。1973年RCA唱片簽下了Ronnie，並發行了他的第一張鄉村音樂單曲專輯《I Hate You》。
