Douglas Goldberg faces the constant horror of disappointing his brilliant family and shaming their "Wall of Fame". Despite his best efforts, Douglas always comes up short, losing the blue ribbon to the uber-perfect Jordan White. That is until he comes upon an ad for the State Pickle Eating Contest and realizes his love for pickles could win his family's love for him.
