Wake up to the sound of your heart
The beating and the rushing might just start again
You had time on your hands
Lost to silence it never stood a chance
And the moon is sinking for you
Don't be afraid to watch it go
Like October Snow
Wake up to
Oh darling wake up to the sound of your heart
Your thoughts could sink the sea
You're dying just to breathe
Oh oh oh days go by
And in the seasons you leave behind
A trace of what could be
Could it be you I long to see
In the autumn glow
It all flashed by one last time
The lights don't wait forever no
And the sights and sounds
Never more than a fantasy never past that maybe
And the moon is sinking for you
Don't be afraid to watch it go
Like October Snow
Wake up to
Oh darling wake up to the sound of your heart
Your thoughts could sink the sea
You're dying just to breathe
Oh oh oh days go by
And in the seasons you leave behind
A trace of what could be
Could it be you I long to see
