創作背景
Lady Gaga表示，她在十分鐘之內就寫完了這首讓她感到快樂的歌曲，並表示《Just Dance》給了她生活的希望，因為當時的她正處於紐約這種黑暗的空間裡，這令她十分沮喪。然而當她坐飛機去洛杉磯去做屬於她自己的音樂後，便得到機會寫這首歌，於是這就改變了她的的生活，令她忘掉了自己在紐約的公寓和她的男朋友。同時，Lady Gaga還將《Just Dance》稱為自己“心靈的主題曲”。
