內容簡介
Interior designers are under increasing pressure to work with an understanding of the architect´s philosophy and intentions. Their work is also expected to complement architecture with furniture, surfaces, colors and textures that, along with a selection of artwork and natural and artificial light, will generate a comfortable atmosphere in which users feel welcome and in harmony with the space. There are no set rules in interior design. Each design firm featured in these books has its own particular philosophy, look and creative flair. These factors, together with the increasingly well thought-out demands of different clients and the complexity of each particular architectural project, lead to functional spaces and solutions.
Practical Atmospheres: Designing the space we are going to live in is of paramount importance. Our home expresses who we are and what we are like as people; it is where the family will grow, meet and spend some of the most important moments of its life.
