樂隊說明

Disembowelment(通常寫作diSEMBOWELMENT)是成立於1989年11月的一支澳大利亞死亡/厄運樂隊。他們當時的成員有鼓手Paul Mazziotta，吉他手兼主唱Renato Gallina。1990年9月，在客串貝斯手Dean Ruprich的幫助下，他們發行了第一張demo《Mourning September》。

發展歷史

Disembowelment演奏的是一種非常緩慢的厄運形式(偶爾爆發出速度)，它倚賴於嗡嗡作響的吉他和不斷重複的重複段所營造出的氛圍效果。樂隊因為他們交響式氛圍、沉重扭曲的風格中所表現出的具有感染力的吟唱、緩慢的重複段和宗教黑暗元素而出名。他們常常被認為導致了之後發展起來的葬禮厄運潮。

1991年Jason Kells作為主吉他手加入樂隊。同年8月，樂隊進入Double Tea錄音室錄製他們的第二張demo《Deep Sensory Perception into Aural Fate》，這張demo標誌著樂隊在歌曲寫作、演奏和作品整體的成熟。同時這張demo也引起了Relapse Records的興趣，並且簽下了他們。1992年公司發行了他們的一張名為《Dusk》的EP。

1993年樂隊的首張全長專輯《Transcendence Into The Peripheral》發行，歌曲的一種緩慢處決式鼓點的風格，伴以死亡金屬式的唱腔、吟唱和黑暗氛圍的過度。這體現了一種複雜巧妙的高水平和自信，是在那一時期澳大利亞的金屬圈所沒有的，是那一時期遺留的經典。這張專輯發行之後樂隊宣告解散。
