1.among主要用於三者或三者以上，其賓語通常是表示籠統數量或具有複數意義的名詞或代詞。

2.among有時相當於one of， 即“…當中的一個”。among還可引出形容詞最高級的比較範圍，但須注意最高級形式出現在among之前或之後意義有所不同。
