《7/11》引用了芝加哥說唱歌手B8gie單曲錄製樣本的節拍。在該歌曲的製作歷程中，斯圖亞特·懷特在洛杉磯、巴黎的唱片工廠指導Detail、西德尼·斯威夫特完成該歌曲的副本。該歌曲的混音師由托尼·瑪莎拉蒂和斯圖亞特·懷特擔任，聲頻技術鋪助由拉蒙·瓦斯、喬恩·斯查克特負責。在這期間，碧昂絲·吉賽爾·諾斯亦聯手鮑比·詹森、Detail入手該歌曲的創作，並獨立製作人聲。最後，戴夫·卡奇在紐約完成了該歌曲的母帶製作。
