陸輕銥2000年獲中國科學技術大學化學系理學博士學位。2000年到2003年在上海復旦大學化學系從事博士後研究工作。2003年到2006年在美國The Pennsylvania State University, Materials Research Institute從事博士後研究工作。2006年2月起受聘南京大學化學化工學院任教授。

主研方向： 主要研究方向為納米結構體系的設計和合成，涉及納米材料（包括納米顆粒、納米線、納米管和納米帶）及納米孔材料的控制合成、排列組裝、機理探索以及性能研究。
