邢承吉

邢承吉,美國哥倫比亞大學歷史系碩士、博士,現任南開大學歷史學院副教授、百名青年學科帶頭人、博士生導師。

曾在美國普渡大學、美國維吉尼亞傑斐遜研究中心、德國哥廷根大學、德國馬普學會科技史所、日本大阪大學等地訪問。 擔任中國美國史研究會外事小組成員、雲里天下學術顧問團成員。研究方向為美國史、跨國思想史和中美科技史。學術寫作見於《漢學研究》、《歷史研究》、World History Studies、 Chinese Studies in History、《讀書》、《全球史評論》以及諸多公共媒體如《文匯報》《澎湃·上海書評》《東方歷史評論》等。譯有跨國史領域譯作一部。曾獲Mellon Foundation的History in Action Award和美國外交史協會(SHAFR) 的Samuel Flagg Bemis Award。目前正在修改圍繞中華教育文化基金董事會和中美思想史的中英文書稿和相關研究中英文論文。該項研究曾得到包括東京政策研究基金會、吉爾德萊曼研究所、洛克菲勒檔案中心、美國科技醫療史聯合會等多個國際機構的資助。在南開大學邢老師開設有美國史和科技史領域本科生專業選修課程“跨國史前沿文獻閱讀”、“19世紀美國史”、“中外科技交流史”等本科生選修課、本科生新生研討課,曾開設研究生必修課並擔任伯苓班(2024年)和世界史班(2025年)班主任。
